Product Naming and Terminology

For branding and development purposes, PlingifyPlug AntiMalware may be renamed or referred to as PlingifyPlug SafeGuard or SafeGuard. These names represent the same security feature and protection system. Any mention of AntiMalware within this Privacy Policy shall be understood to include SafeGuard and any future renamed versions of this feature.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms," "Agreement") constitute a legal agreement between PlingifyPlug ("we," "us," or "our") and you ("User," "you," or "your"). By accessing or using our websites ("PlingifyPlug.com," "PlingifyPlug.odoo.com," and "backuppass.github.io") and any associated products or services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to abide by these Terms, please refrain from using our Websites and Services.

1. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to misuse, exploit, or manipulate our software, operating systems, applications, products, or web pages in any unauthorized manner. Any such exploitation may result in a temporary or permanent ban from our Services. Additionally, abusive behaviour, harassment, or threats toward our staff members will not be tolerated and may result in similar consequences.

2. Bans and Refunds

  • We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently ban users who breach these Terms.
  • Donations are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Refunds for purchased services or products are available within 30 days of purchase, with an additional 30-day processing period if applicable.
  • Failure to pay for subscriptions or unauthorized cancellations may result in service termination without a refund and potential bans.
  • Chargebacks or fraudulent payment disputes may result in an immediate ban from all Services.

3. Cancellation of Subscriptions

While you may cancel your subscriptions at any time, we recommend contacting our staff before doing so to avoid potential bans for misuse of paid services.

4. Software Usage and Security

  • The use, distribution, or possession of cracked, pirated, or unauthorized copies of our software is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban without appeal.
  • While we provide security measures to protect our software, we are not responsible for viruses, malware, or any harm caused by third-party modifications or unauthorized downloads.
  • We are not liable for any damage to your device, including but not limited to system failures, slowdowns, or security breaches resulting from our software.

5. Liability and Data Security

  • We take data security seriously and implement measures to protect user information. However, no system is entirely secure.
  • In the event of a data breach, we will promptly notify affected users and take necessary actions.
  • We cannot be held responsible for any unauthorized access, breaches, or resulting damages.

6. User Responsibility

  • Any downloads or installations from our Websites and Services are done at your own risk.
  • We are not liable for any damages, malfunctions, or issues resulting from downloaded content.

7. Updates and Changes

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of our Websites and Services after modifications signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PlingifyPlug, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, contractors, and partners shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from or in connection with your use of our websites, services, or products, including but not limited to:

  1. Technical Failures
    Any interruptions, errors, malfunctions, or failures in the software, systems, or services, including data loss, unauthorized access, or failure of any part of the service.
  2. Security Vulnerabilities
    Any breaches, hacks, or security vulnerabilities that may affect your device, network, or personal data, even if such events occur due to third-party services, such as Firebase or other providers we work with.
  3. Data Loss or Corruption
    Any damages caused by loss or corruption of data or files, including issues with downloaded content or use of our software.
  4. Third-Party Products and Services
    PlingifyPlug is not responsible for any third-party software, services, or products, including any disruptions or damages arising from their use in conjunction with PlingifyPlug products.
  5. Injury or Property Damage
    Any claims for personal injury or property damage that may result from the use of our Services or products, including Beta Software.
  6. Beta Software Risks
    The Beta Software, while provided for evaluation, is not guaranteed to be fully functional and may cause disruptions, including but not limited to system failures, slowdowns, or unexpected errors.

  7. Software Risks

    By using our software, including but not limited to the Vinti Beta, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:

    • Data Loss: The use of our software may result in the loss of data due to system malfunctions, compatibility issues, or errors within the software. While we take reasonable measures to prevent data loss, we cannot guarantee that data will be protected from corruption, deletion, or other unintended outcomes.
    • System Compatibility: Our software may not be compatible with all systems, devices, or operating environments. The performance of the software may vary depending on your hardware, software configuration, or operating system. It is your responsibility to ensure compatibility before installing or using the software.
    • Software Conflicts: The use of our software alongside third-party software may result in conflicts, system crashes, or performance issues. We recommend checking for potential conflicts with other software programs before installation and use.
    • Performance and Stability: While we strive to ensure that our software performs optimally, there may be times when the software experiences errors, bugs, or crashes that may affect its performance. As the software may be under active development, updates and fixes may not be immediately available.
    • Security Vulnerabilities: Despite our efforts to implement strong security measures, no software can be completely immune to security vulnerabilities. The software may be susceptible to malware, hacking, or other security breaches. You are advised to regularly update the software and take appropriate measures to secure your system.
    • Increased Resource Usage: Some of our software may require substantial system resources such as memory, CPU, or storage. In certain cases, this could lead to system slowdowns or other performance issues, particularly on lower-end hardware.
    • Third-Party Software Risks: Our software may interact with or rely on third-party services or software. We do not control these third-party products, and you use them at your own risk. Any issues arising from third-party interactions are not the responsibility of PlingifyPlug.

By agreeing to these Terms, you waive any claims for damages arising out of your use of our products and services, including any damages caused by our software, services, or third-party services involved. You further agree that PlingifyPlug's total liability, regardless of the nature of the claim, shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the specific service in question or £100, whichever is greater.

PlingifyPlug makes no representations or warranties about the suitability, accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content, software, services, or information provided through our websites and services. You use all services at your own risk, and we disclaim any and all liability for any damages, loss, or inconvenience resulting from your use of the services.

PlingifyPlug (“PlingifyPlug”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides the Vinti browser (“Vinti”, “Software”, “App”). This document applies to Vinti on Windows, macOS & Linux, and any official Vinti pages/services that Vinti can open or integrate with.

This document is for transparency and agreement terms. It is not legal advice.

1) Important links and service scope


Instonomo ChatBot is a feature/service accessed through Vinti or Vinti-linked pages and is hosted/operated through:

https://backuppass.github.io/Instonomo

If you use the Instonomo ChatBot, you also agree to Instonomo’s Terms and Privacy for that service/page. If there is any conflict between those Instonomo terms and these Vinti terms, Instonomo’s terms control for ChatBot use.

2) Privacy Policy

2.1 What Vinti stores locally on your device


Vinti primarily stores data locally on your device (inside Vinti’s app data folder) to provide browser features. This may include:

Browsing history (URLs + timestamps) if enabled

Favicons (site icons) stored as part of history display, if enabled

Bookmarks

Downloads list (a list shown in Vinti; downloaded files are saved to your OS downloads folder)

Cookies, cache, and site storage (to keep you signed in and let sites work normally)

Settings & toggles (e.g., safe browsing/SafeGuard toggles, content filtering toggles, permissions toggles, zoom)

Basic safety stats/logs (e.g., blocked counters) for UI display

You can clear data using Vinti settings (clear cookies, clear cache/site data, clear history). Disabling history saving (if your build includes it) stops future history recording.

2.2 Instonomo ChatBot data


When you use the Instonomo ChatBot:

Content you submit (your prompts/messages) and the service’s replies may be processed and stored by the Instonomo service to provide chat functionality, moderation, and service integrity.

This data is associated with Instonomo’s service operations at:

Clearing ChatBot data: If Instonomo provides a clear/reset option, you can clear chat data through the Instonomo interface. If you clear Vinti cookies/site storage, this may also remove local session data for the ChatBot website.

We do not guarantee the availability or retention period of Instonomo ChatBot data, because it is controlled by the Instonomo service terms and implementation shown on that site.

2.2.3 Instonomo ChatBot user data stored locally (Local Storage)


When you use the Instonomo ChatBot, information about you and your ChatBot experience is stored locally on your device using browser storage (such as Local Storage and related site data) under:

This local data may include, for example:

your ChatBot preferences (e.g., UI options)

session-related information needed for the ChatBot to function

locally stored conversation context (where applicable)

local identifiers used to apply safety features (e.g., strike counters, local restrictions)

You can clear this locally stored data at any time by:

using any “Clear/Reset” option in Instonomo (if available), and/or

clearing site data (cookies/site storage) for backuppass.github.io inside Vinti settings.

2.2.4 Instonomo moderation and banning data (Firebase)


Instonomo uses Firebase to store limited moderation-related records. These records are designed to be minimised and are not intended to store your full ChatBot profile or full local ChatBot experience.

(A) What may be stored in Firebase

Firebase may store only the following moderation/ban information:

Reason for ban (for moderation context)

Appeal reason/message (if you submit an appeal)

Email address (only if you provide it for appeal contact/updates)

Appeal status (e.g., submitted/under review/approved/denied)

Non-personal ban/admin metadata (e.g., timestamps, internal reference IDs)

(B) What is not intended to be stored in Firebase

Instonomo is not intended to store the following in Firebase as part of banning:

your full ChatBot “profile” or general preferences

your entire locally stored chat experience/history (unless the Instonomo service explicitly tells you otherwise at the time you use it)

unrelated personal information

(C) Purpose limitation

Firebase-stored moderation data is used only for:

handling moderation decisions

processing appeals

preventing abuse and protecting the service

2.2.5 Clearing and deletion

Clearing local data


You can clear locally stored Instonomo ChatBot data by clearing site data for backuppass.github.io (or using any in-service clear/reset tools).

Firebase moderation records

If you submit an appeal, Firebase may keep a record of the appeal outcome and the minimum moderation context required to prevent repeat abuse. Where the Instonomo service provides a deletion method (such as account/device deletion tools or a deletion request process), you can use that process for server-side data where applicable.


2.2.6 Instonomo device identifiers and device bans

When you use the Instonomo ChatBot through Vinti, a locally generated device identifier (“Device ID”) may be created and stored on your device. This identifier is used to help apply moderation actions fairly and consistently across sessions.

If Instonomo determines that a user has violated its rules, a device ban may be applied and stored in Firebase. This record may include:

  • the Device ID

  • ban status (banned or not)

  • reason for the ban (e.g., spam, abusive language, hate speech)

  • appeal status and timestamps (if an appeal is submitted)

This Device ID is not intended to directly identify you as a person and is used only for moderation, abuse prevention, and service protection.

If a device ban is active, Vinti may use this information to restrict access to the Instonomo ChatBot and may also limit use of Vinti itself by showing a “Device banned” page.

You can clear local data, but this does not automatically remove server-side moderation records. Appeals or unbans must be handled through the Instonomo appeal process or by contacting PlingifyPlug support.

2.3 Network requests Vinti may make (and why)


Vinti may make network requests for functionality such as:

Update checks and “official build” verification (to help protect users from tampered builds)

Opening PlingifyPlug pages (status pages, download pages)

Loading favicons (either from sites or a favicon provider depending on how your build is implemented)

Loading any site you visit (normal browser operation)

Vinti is not intended to upload your complete browsing history to PlingifyPlug as analytics/telemetry by default. Websites you visit can still log information in the normal way (IP address, cookies, browser headers, etc.).

2.4 Security note


We take reasonable steps to make Vinti safer, but no security feature is perfect. SafeGuard/ blocking features can be incomplete or occasionally wrong. You are responsible for safe browsing and keeping your OS updated.

This may also include enforcing device-level restrictions within Vinti when required to protect the service.

2.5 Changes


We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.

3) Terms of Service

3.1 Acceptance


By downloading, installing, opening, or using Vinti, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the EULA below. If you do not agree, do not use Vinti.

3.2 Eligibility


You must comply with local laws and any age requirements that apply to the websites/services you access. If you are not legally allowed to use a service you access through Vinti, do not use that service.

3.3 Instonomo ChatBot additional terms


Using Instonomo ChatBot means you also agree to Instonomo’s Terms/Privacy displayed on:

3.4 License and permitted use


We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Vinti for personal use (or internal business use, if permitted by your local laws) provided you follow these Terms.

3.5 Prohibited use


You agree you will not:

Use Vinti to break laws or violate third-party rights

Attempt to bypass, disable, or tamper with safety systems (SafeGuard, filtering, update/auth checks)

Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify Vinti except where the law allows

Distribute Vinti builds as “official” when they are not officially released by PlingifyPlug

Use Vinti to deliver malware, phishing, scams, harassment, or abusive content

Interfere with or attack PlingifyPlug services or the Instonomo service (e.g., scraping, flooding, exploitation attempts)

3.5.6 Instonomo Moderation and Device Bans

Instonomo ChatBot is moderated to protect users and the service. If you use Instonomo through Vinti, you agree that PlingifyPlug and/or the Instonomo service may take moderation actions, including device bans, if you engage in prohibited behaviour.

Prohibited behaviour may include, but is not limited to:

  • spamming or flooding the ChatBot

  • harassment, threats, or abusive language

  • racist, hateful, or discriminatory content

  • encouraging or promoting self-harm or violence

  • attempting to bypass filters or moderation systems

  • misuse intended to disrupt or exploit the service

Moderation actions may include:

  • warnings or restrictions

  • temporary or permanent device bans

  • blocking access to the Instonomo ChatBot

  • restricting access to Vinti by showing a “Device banned” page

Device bans are tied to a locally generated Device ID and not to a personal account unless otherwise stated.

You may be given the option to submit an appeal through Instonomo. Appeal outcomes are final unless otherwise stated.

3.6 Third-party content and services


Vinti is a browser. Most content you see is created and controlled by third parties. We are not responsible for:

website content, accuracy, legality, or availability

third-party tracking/cookies

third-party purchases, subscriptions, accounts, or disputes

any loss caused by third-party services (including Instonomo ChatBot hosting or downtime)

3.7 No professional advice


Any content from websites or the ChatBot may be incorrect or inappropriate for your situation. Do not treat it as professional advice (medical, legal, financial, safety, etc.). You are responsible for decisions you make.

3.8 Updates and changes


We may add, remove, or change features at any time, including safety features, UI, and integrations. Updates may install automatically or require manual action depending on your build.

3.9 Termination


We may suspend or terminate your license to use Vinti if you violate these Terms, misuse the software, abuse the Instonomo ChatBot, or if keeping the license active could harm users, PlingifyPlug, or third parties. This may include device-based restrictions enforced through Instonomo moderation systems. On termination you must stop using and uninstall Vinti.

3.10 Disclaimers


Vinti is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee:

that Vinti will be uninterrupted or error-free

that websites will load correctly

that blocking systems will catch all threats or never false-block

that updates will always be available or succeed

3.11 Limitation of liability (stronger protection)


To the maximum extent permitted by law:

PlingifyPlug will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

PlingifyPlug will not be liable for loss of profits, business, goodwill, data loss, or device damage related to use of Vinti, third-party sites, or the ChatBot.

PlingifyPlug’s total liability for any claim related to Vinti will not exceed the amount you paid for Vinti (if any). If Vinti is free, PlingifyPlug’s total liability will be limited to the minimum amount allowed by law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

3.12 Indemnity


You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlingifyPlug from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

your misuse of Vinti

your violation of these Terms

your violation of laws or third-party rights

content you submit to third-party services (including the ChatBot)

3.13 Governing law


These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and courts there will have jurisdiction, except where local consumer law requires otherwise.

4) End User License Agreement (EULA)

4.1 Software is licensed, not sold


Vinti is licensed to you, not sold. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by PlingifyPlug.

4.2 Restrictions


You may not:

copy, modify, or create derivative works except where law allows

remove branding, copyright notices, or security notices

redistribute “official” builds without permission

4.3 Ownership


PlingifyPlug owns Vinti, including its UI, branding, update/auth mechanisms, and integrated safety logic, unless stated otherwise.

4.4 Termination


This license terminates automatically if you breach the EULA/Terms. On termination, you must stop using Vinti and delete all copies.

4.5 Warranty disclaimer and liability


Same disclaimers and limitations as the Terms (Section 3.10–3.11) apply to this EULA.

5) ReadMe

5.1 What Vinti is


Vinti is a PlingifyPlug browser focused on a clean experience plus optional safety features (blocking, permissions controls, update/auth checks) and optional integration with Instonomo ChatBot.

5.2 Key features (may vary by build)


Tabbed browsing

History saving (local) + clear option + optional favicon display

Bookmarks

Clear cookies/cache/site data

Permissions controls (camera/mic/notifications/popups/autoplay)

Update checks and official build verification

Instonomo ChatBot access (subject to Instonomo terms on their site)

5.3 Safety notes


Blocking features reduce risk but do not eliminate it.

Only install Vinti from sources you trust.

Use of Instonomo ChatBot is moderated. Serious or repeated abuse may result in a device ban that can also restrict access to Vinti itself.

If your system warns about unknown publisher, verify you downloaded the official build.

PlingifyPlug SafeGuard is a security-oriented service developed by PlingifyPlug to help users enhance their browsing safety. This service exists in the form of:

  • Vinti PlingifyPlug SafeGuard for Windows, Linux & macOS (within the Vinti browser)
  • PlingifyPlug SafeGuard Extension for Safari and Chrome
  • PlingifyPlug (Backuppass), GitHub-based websites with SafeGuard protections

This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and handle your information across each version of PlingifyPlug SafeGuard .

1. Information We Collect

PlingifyPlug SafeGuard does not collect any personal data from users. We do not log your browsing activity, URLs, downloads, or identifiable behaviour.

However, we may collect anonymous, non-identifiable usage data such as:

  • Number of blocked threats (non-specific)
  • Extension version info
  • Basic technical diagnostics (e.g., OS, browser version)
  • Analytics on how many users use PlingifyPlug SafeGuard 

2. Vinti PlingifyPlug SafeGuard 

macOS:

  • Blocks malicious websites and adult content
  • Assists with identifying safe download links
  • Operates locally and anonymously with no personal data sent back to us

Windows:

  • Blocks malicious and adult websites
  • No safe download features included

No information from your system is collected. All detection occurs locally.

3. GitHub-Based Protection (PlingifyPlug Sites)

Our GitHub-hosted sites (such as backuppass.github.io) may contain SafeGuard. JavaScript code that aims to block or restrict known dodgy users or scripts.

These protections are based on behavioural patterns and not individual user data. We do not store user identities. This also includes inappropriate use, words or illegal use of the website, application or system.

4. Responsibility & Risk

PlingifyPlug SafeGuard aims to reduce your exposure to threats, but it is not a full antivirus solution.

  • We cannot guarantee 100% protection
  • You use the service at your own risk
  • PlingifyPlug is not liable for any damage, malware, viruses, or system compromise that occurs while using the software or extensions

5. Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of our software implies acceptance of the latest policy.

Overview: PlingifyPlug SafeGuard is a browser-based threat blocker designed to keep your browsing safer by blocking known malicious and adult websites. It comes in the form of a browser feature in Vinti, Chrome/Safari extensions, and additional site-based protection on PlingifyPlug GitHub pages.

Versions:

  • Vinti (macOS): Blocks malicious sites and adult content, includes safe download checks
  • Vinti (Windows): Blocks malicious and adult sites only
  • Safari Extension: Blocks malicious/adult content
  • Chrome Extension: Blocks malicious/adult content
  • GitHub Pages: Warns users and restricts suspicious patterns as well as banning users.

Usage Notice:

  • We cannot guarantee full protection

1) Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using Instonomo, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies referenced in them (including the Privacy Policy and any additional rules shown on the Website). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

2) Who can use Instonomo (Eligibility)

  • You must follow the laws that apply to you where you live.

  • If you are under the minimum age required to consent to online services in your country, you may only use Instonomo with consent from a parent/guardian (where required).

  • We can refuse access to anyone at any time if we believe use is unsafe, unlawful, or violates these Terms.

3) What Instonomo is (and isn’t)

Instonomo is a website that may include account features, user-facing tools, and (in future) AI-powered features.

No guarantees: The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that results/output will always be accurate.

3.1 Instonomo ChatBot (live feature)

Instonomo includes a ChatBot feature (“ChatBot”). By using the ChatBot, you agree to these Terms and any additional ChatBot rules shown on the Instonomo site. If the ChatBot is accessed through Vinti or another PlingifyPlug product, your use is still governed by these Instonomo Terms.

ChatBot data may be stored locally on your device (for example using cookies/local storage) and certain moderation/appeal information may be stored in Firebase (see Privacy Policy). You can clear local ChatBot data by clearing site data for backuppass.github.io in your browser settings (or using any clear/reset option on the Instonomo site if available).

4) Accounts and security

If the Website offers accounts:

  • You are responsible for activity on your account.

  • Provide accurate information where required (for example, a working email).

  • Keep access to your account secure. If you believe your account is compromised, stop using it and contact us.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Break these Terms,

  • Create risk to other users, the public, or PlingifyPlug,

  • Are involved in suspected fraud, abuse, or unlawful behaviour.

5) Acceptable Use Policy (What you must NOT do)

You agree not to use Instonomo to do, share, request, promote, or facilitate:

Illegal, harmful, or abusive activity

  • Any unlawful activity or content.

  • Threats, harassment, bullying, hate, or discrimination.

  • Exploitation or harm of minors.

  • Content that encourages violence or serious wrongdoing.

  • Instructions or support for wrongdoing (including evading law enforcement).

Safety, security, and system abuse

  • Attempting to hack, reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service.

  • Malware, spyware, phishing, credential theft, scams, or deceptive practices.

  • Automated scraping, botting, or abusive traffic that harms the Service.

  • Bypassing restrictions, bans, moderation systems, or technical limits.

Content rights violations

  • Uploading or sharing content you don’t have rights to.

  • Copyright infringement or piracy.

Privacy violations

  • Doxxing, sharing private personal information without permission.

  • Collecting or storing personal data about others without lawful basis.

We can interpret this policy broadly to protect safety, legality, and the integrity of the Service.

6) “Strike” system, bans, and enforcement

Instonomo may use an enforcement system (including automated checks and manual review) to keep the Service safe.

6.1 Strikes

  • The Website may issue “strikes” when content or behaviour violates these Terms.

  • Strikes can be triggered by: prompts, messages, uploaded content (if any), account behaviour, or suspected abuse.

6.2 3-Strike policy (example implementation)

Unless we state otherwise on the Website:

  • Strike 1: Warning + limited restrictions may apply.

  • Strike 2: Strong warning + temporary restrictions may apply.

  • Strike 3: Account action, which may include automatic account deletion and/or a ban.

6.3 Cookies / local tracking for enforcement

To enforce safety rules, Instonomo may store local identifiers (such as cookies/local storage) that record strike status and ban signals. Attempting to clear, reset, or bypass these to evade enforcement may itself lead to a ban.

6.4 Immediate enforcement (no warning)

We may suspend or ban immediately (with or without strikes) for severe issues, including:

  • Illegal use,

  • Threats of harm,

  • Sexual content involving minors,

  • Malware, hacking attempts, or platform attacks,

  • Coordinated abuse, harassment, or evasion.

6.5 Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action is wrong, you can contact us with:

  • Account email (if applicable),

  • What happened,

  • Any relevant timestamps/screenshots.

We may not respond to every appeal, and we may refuse appeals where risk remains.

7) User content (if you post, send, or upload anything)

If the Service lets you submit content (“User Content”), you:

  • Keep ownership of your User Content but grant us a licence to host, store, process, and display it only as needed to operate and improve the Service and enforce safety rules.

  • Confirm you have rights to submit it.

  • Understand we may remove content at any time for safety, legal compliance, or policy reasons.

8) AI features (Instonomo AI) — Not live yet

Instonomo may later include “Instonomo AI” features. As of the effective date above, Instonomo AI may not be available, may be incomplete, or may be disabled.

When enabled:

  • AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading.

  • AI outputs are for general informational use and entertainment only.

  • Do not rely on AI outputs for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

  • You are responsible for how you use outputs.

  • We may log/retain certain data for safety, debugging, and misuse prevention (see Privacy Policy).

9) Intellectual Property (Our stuff)

All branding, logos, designs, code, and content provided by PlingifyPlug are owned by PlingifyPlug or licensed to us.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of the Service unless we give written permission, except where the law allows.

10) Third-party services (Firebase, hosting, etc.)

Instonomo may use third-party providers (for example authentication or hosting). Your use may also be subject to those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

11) Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We do not guarantee availability, security, or error-free operation.

  • We do not guarantee accuracy of any content or output.

  • Use is at your own risk.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlingifyPlug is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses,

  • Loss of data, profits, revenue, or business,

  • Damages arising from misuse, inability to use, or reliance on content/outputs.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum permitted by law.

13) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time, especially for policy violations or risk. You may stop using the Service at any time.

If your account is deleted, you may lose access to associated data, subject to the Privacy Policy and any legal retention requirements.

14) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are significant, we will try to provide notice on the Website. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15) Governing law

Unless otherwise required by local law, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

INSTONOMO — PRIVACY POLICY

ChatBot: live feature (data rules below).

Instonomo AI (other tools): not live yet; no additional AI tool data is collected until released.

1) What data we may collect

1.1 Account data (if accounts exist)

If you create an account, we may collect:

  • Email address

  • Account ID / user ID

  • Authentication metadata (sign-in timestamps, provider type)

If you use Firebase Authentication, some of this is processed by Firebase as part of account sign-in.

1.2 Safety & moderation data (Strike / ban system)

To keep the platform safe, we may store:

  • Strike count / status

  • Ban status

  • Signals of suspected abuse (rate limiting triggers, repeated violations)

  • Basic technical identifiers needed for enforcement (may include cookies/local storage identifiers)

1.3 Device and log data

We may automatically collect:

  • IP address (often temporarily, for security/abuse prevention)

  • Browser type and version

  • Device/OS information

  • Date/time of requests

  • Basic diagnostics (error logs, crash reports if enabled)

1.4 Content you submit

If the Service allows you to submit content (messages, prompts, uploads), we may process and store that content to:

  • Provide the Service,

  • Enforce safety rules,

  • Investigate abuse,

  • Debug issues.

1.5 Cookies and similar tech

We may use cookies/local storage for:

  • Essential login/session handling

  • Safety enforcement (3-strike and ban signals)

  • Preferences (theme, mute, etc., if you add them)

You can control cookies in your browser, but disabling essential cookies may break the Service. Attempting to clear enforcement cookies to evade moderation may lead to account restrictions.

1.5.1 ChatBot user data stored locally (Local Storage / site storage)

Information about your ChatBot experience (such as preferences, session state, and certain chat-related data) may be stored locally on your device using site storage (including Local Storage and similar browser storage) for backuppass.github.io. This local data is used to keep the ChatBot working and remember your settings. You can clear this data by clearing site data for backuppass.github.io in your browser settings (or using any clear/reset option on the Instonomo site if available).

1.5.2 Banning and appeals data stored in Firebase (limited and purpose-restricted)

For safety enforcement, Instonomo stores limited ban/appeal information in Firebase. This Firebase data is not intended to store your full ChatBot “profile” or your full locally stored ChatBot experience. Firebase-stored moderation data is limited to what is necessary to operate appeals and enforcement, such as:

  • the reason for ban

  • the reason/message submitted for appeal

  • an email address (only if provided for appeal contact/updates)

  • appeal status and relevant timestamps/IDs used for enforcement

    This data is used only for moderation, appeals processing, preventing abuse, and protecting the service.

2) How we use your data

We use data to:

  • Provide and operate Instonomo

  • Authenticate users and manage accounts

  • Enforce safety rules and prevent misuse

  • Maintain platform security

  • Fix bugs and improve performance

  • Comply with legal obligations

3) Legal bases (UK GDPR style)

Where applicable (UK GDPR), we process data under:

  • Contract: to provide the Service you request (accounts, features)

  • Legitimate interests: security, abuse prevention, service improvement

  • Legal obligation: responding to lawful requests or legal compliance

  • Consent: where you explicitly opt in (for non-essential cookies/analytics, if implemented)

4) Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data.

  • Local ChatBot storage can be cleared by the user at any time by clearing site data. Moderation/appeal records stored in Firebase may be retained as long as needed to enforce safety rules, prevent evasion, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

5) Data retention

We retain data only as long as needed:

  • Account data: while your account is active, and a limited period after deletion where needed for security/legal reasons

  • Strike/ban data: as long as needed to enforce safety and prevent evasion

  • Logs: typically short periods unless needed for investigations or security

If you implement a specific retention schedule later, publish it here.

6) Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe.

7) Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

  • Access to your data

  • Correction of inaccurate data

  • Deletion (in some cases)

  • Restriction/objection to processing

  • Data portability

  • Withdrawal of consent (where processing is based on consent)

8) Children’s privacy

Instonomo is not intended for children under the minimum age required to consent to online services in their country without parental involvement. If you believe a child has provided data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

INSTONOMO — END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT (EULA)

1) Licence grant

PlingifyPlug grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Instonomo for its intended purpose.

2) Restrictions

You must not:

  • Copy, redistribute, sell, or sublicense the Service or its code

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code (except where law permits)

  • Remove branding, copyright notices, or watermarks

  • Use the Service to create a competing product using substantially similar design/code

  • Attempt to bypass bans, strike systems, rate limits, or safety enforcement (including by clearing or tampering with enforcement identifiers) where this is used to evade moderation.

3) Ownership

The Service and all associated IP rights belong to PlingifyPlug and its licensors.

4) Updates and changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. Some updates may be required to keep using the Service.

5) Termination

This licence ends automatically if you violate the Terms of Service or this EULA. On termination, you must stop using the Service.

6) Disclaimer and limitation

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. Liability is limited as stated in the Terms of Service.

7) Governing law

England and Wales, unless your local law requires otherwise.

INSTONOMO AI — ADDITIONAL TERMS

A1) AI output limitations

  • AI may generate incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information.

  • Do not treat AI output as professional advice (medical, legal, financial, safety, etc.).

  • You must verify important information independently.

A2) Prohibited AI usage

You must not use Instonomo AI to:

  • Request or generate illegal content or plans

  • Harass, threaten, or target individuals/groups

  • Create malware, scams, phishing, or hacking attempts

  • Infringe copyright or privacy

  • Generate sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance)

A3) Moderation and enforcement

AI usage is subject to the same strike/ban system. We may:

  • Block certain prompts,

  • Rate limit users,

  • Suspend accounts,

  • Delete accounts after repeated or severe violations.

A4) Data processing for safety

When enabled, we may store or process AI interactions for:

  • Abuse prevention and safety

  • Debugging and reliability

  • Improving filtering and moderation

Instonomo is operated by PlingifyPlug. Use of this site is subject to our Terms, Privacy Policy, and EULA. Abuse or illegal use may result in bans and account removal (3-strike system). Instonomo AI may be unavailable and outputs are not guaranteed.

By creating an account and using our services, you agree to these Terms and to the collection, storage, and processing of your data as described below. If you do not agree, you must not create an account or use the account-enabled features.

2. Account Features and Beta Access

By creating and using a PlingifyPlug account, you may gain access to account-enabled features within PlingifyPlug services, including PlingifyPlug-Hub.

PlingifyPlug-Hub may provide access to:

  • Account-only features and settings

  • Account management tools (e.g., password reset, sign out, account deletion)

  • Beta app downloads and early-access releases (where available)

Beta downloads are optional and may be limited to users with an account. Availability may change at any time.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your personal data is stored in Firebase, a third-party service provider. Firebase is responsible for the underlying infrastructure security of its servers and systems.

PlingifyPlug takes reasonable steps to protect the account system, but you understand and accept that no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure. By using this account system, you accept that you do so at your own choice and risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlingifyPlug is not responsible for any data leaks, breaches, hacks, or improper access that may occur due to:

  • vulnerabilities, outages, or failures in Firebase or any third-party services

  • attacks, exploits, or unauthorized access attempts

  • accidental loss or exposure caused by external factors

  • service disruptions outside our control

4. Data Collection

When you create or use an account, PlingifyPlug may collect and store certain information, including but not limited to:

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your login details confidential

  • maintaining the security of any device used to access your account

  • notifying PlingifyPlug immediately if you suspect unauthorized use

You understand that you are responsible for your own actions while using the account system. PlingifyPlug is not responsible for losses resulting from your failure to secure your credentials or device.

8. Liability and Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • PlingifyPlug is not liable for any unauthorized access to or misuse of your account or data

  • PlingifyPlug is not liable for loss of data, service interruptions, or damages arising from use of Firebase or third-party services

  • PlingifyPlug is not liable for any loss resulting from participation in Beta releases, including instability, bugs, performance issues, or incompatibility

PlingifyPlug services and Beta features are provided “as is” and “as available”.

9. Third-Party Services

PlingifyPlug services may depend on or interact with third-party providers such as Firebase. These third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies. PlingifyPlug is not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third parties. You agree to review and comply with any applicable third-party terms.

15. Account System Discontinuation

If PlingifyPlug stops operating the account system (or migrates away from Firebase), user account data and related account information may be deleted, migrated, or archived depending on technical and legal requirements. Where reasonable, we may provide notice, but it is not guaranteed.

By clicking "Agree" when creating an account, and by continuing to use the PlingifyPlug account system (including PlingifyPlug-Hub account features and Beta downloads), you confirm that you understand and accept these Terms and Conditions.

1. Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of any software or services provided in beta form ("Beta Software") by PlingifyPlug ("we," "our," or "us"). 2. Acknowledgement of Beta Software Status

The Beta Software is still under development and is provided to you for testing, evaluation, and feedback purposes only. It may contain errors, bugs, or other issues that could affect its performance, functionality, or security. As such, you acknowledge that the Beta Software is not a final or stable release and may be subject to significant changes before being made publicly available as a full release. PlingifyPlug does not guarantee the Beta Software’s completeness, reliability, or security, and its use is at your own risk.

3. Responsibility for Use

By using the Beta Software, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for your use of the software. You agree that you will use the Beta Software solely for its intended purpose and will not hold PlingifyPlug, its employees, contractors, or affiliates liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the Beta Software, including, but not limited to, data loss, system failures, crashes, or any other negative impacts on your device or network. You are solely responsible for any risks associated with testing and using the Beta Software, including potential loss of data, security vulnerabilities, or software malfunctions.

4. No Warranty

The Beta Software is provided "as is," and PlingifyPlug makes no representations or warranties regarding the Beta Software, including but not limited to its quality, performance, security, or availability. We expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. There is no guarantee that the Beta Software will meet your expectations or be free from errors or interruptions. PlingifyPlug is not responsible for any damage, including loss of data, arising from your use of the Beta Software.

5. Feedback and Testing

By using the Beta Software, you may be requested to provide feedback, bug reports, and suggestions ("Feedback") to PlingifyPlug. You agree that any Feedback you provide will be non-confidential and may be used by PlingifyPlug for any purpose, without compensation to you. You acknowledge that PlingifyPlug may, but is not obligated to, incorporate any suggestions or improvements you provide into future versions of the Beta Software or other products and services.

6. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall PlingifyPlug be liable for any damages, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or use, whether in an action of contract, negligence, or other tortious action, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Beta Software, even if PlingifyPlug has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The total liability of PlingifyPlug in any matter arising from the use of the Beta Software shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the Beta Software.

7. No Support

PlingifyPlug is under no obligation to provide support, updates, maintenance, or any form of assistance for the Beta Software. If we choose to offer support or updates for the Beta Software, it will be at our discretion and may be limited to certain periods or conditions.

8. Modifications and Termination

PlingifyPlug reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or terminate the Beta Software or your access to the Beta Software at any time and without notice. We may also discontinue the Beta Software entirely or release future versions under different terms and conditions. You agree that we will not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from the modification, suspension, or termination of the Beta Software.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PlingifyPlug, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Beta Software, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another person or entity.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PlingifyPlug is established, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the Beta Software shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

By accessing, downloading, installing, or using any software developed, distributed, or maintained by PlingifyPlug(“we,” “our,” or “us”), including but not limited to Instonomo AI, Vinti, or any other product under the PlingifyPlug name (collectively, the “Software”), you (“you,” “user,” or “end user”) agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access, install, or use our Software.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Software, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using our Software on behalf of a company or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.

2. License and Restrictions

PlingifyPlug will NOT be held liable for:

  • Any damage to your device, data loss, software conflicts, hardware failure, overheating, battery issues, or any malfunction caused by installation or use of our Software.
  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Software.
  • Any issues caused by unauthorized versions, cracked software, or third-party modifications of our products.
  • Losses or liabilities from third-party software conflicts, device bricks, or system crashes triggered by our Software.
