About us?
PlingifyPlug was founded in April 2023 as a platform to share helpful links and tools for video editing. After a short break and a temporary closure in July 2023, we refocused our efforts and returned with a clear goal: to provide simple, free, and privacy-respecting software.
By early 2024, we had narrowed our active projects to just two: BackupPass and PlingifyPlug, which now serve as the core of our work. Throughout 2023, we experimented with developing custom Linux and Android operating systems. However, with a small team and limited resources, we chose to shift focus to software that’s more manageable and impactful.
We are now actively developing Vinti, a lightweight browser for Windows and macOS featuring an integrated security system. Vinti for Windows launched in July 2024, followed by the macOS version in early 2025. An iOS version is in development, but progress has slowed due to hardware limitations. We’re also working on Safari and Chrome extensions to expand our security tools.
In October 2024, we launched InstonomoAI, originally released as “Instonomo(ChatBot).” While the first version lacked AI, we are now building a true AI version. The new InstonomoAI will be available soon and free to use — no payments or credit card details required.
About Our Team
PlingifyPlug is currently a one-person team. I manage everything — from development and design to support and infrastructure. For privacy and safety reasons, I choose not to share personal information such as my name or photo. Despite that, I’m fully committed to delivering reliable tools for everyone to use, completely free of charge.
I started learning HTML in 2021, picked up JavaScript and CSS in 2022, and launched PlingifyPlug in 2023. Since then, I’ve expanded my skills into macOS and iOS app development using Swift. I test all our apps using my own setup, which includes multiple MacBooks and a Windows PC with an RTX 3050 for Windows-based projects.
Although updates may sometimes be delayed, I’m always working to improve what we offer. Thank you for supporting PlingifyPlug.
